Privacy Policy

This policy explains how warmandledger.eu handles information. The site is an informational publication and is designed to collect as little data as possible.

Browser storage

The cookie notice shown on the home page records your choice using a single value in your browser's local storage (localStorage). It stays on your device, is not transmitted to any server and is used only to avoid showing the notice again. The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies.

The contact form

The contact form is a front-end demonstration. When you submit it, the form processes entirely within your browser and clears itself; it does not send your name, email or phone number to a server, and no message is stored or delivered. Because nothing is transmitted, the site does not retain the details you type.

Images hosted by Wikimedia

Photographs on this site are loaded directly from Wikimedia Commons (upload.wikimedia.org). When your browser requests an image, the request reaches Wikimedia's servers, which may process technical data such as your IP address according to the Wikimedia Foundation's own privacy practices. This is standard for any externally hosted image.

Server logs

Like most websites, the hosting environment may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and operation. These are handled by the hosting provider and are not used to build profiles of visitors.

Your rights

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), individuals in the EU have rights over their personal data, including access and erasure. Because this site does not collect or store personal data submitted through the form, there is generally nothing to retrieve; questions can still be sent to editor@warmandledger.eu.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date above will be updated. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
